The Lancers Alumni Foundation created this video to premiere for those in attendance at the Reunion celebration on July 19, 2025.
The premise of the short video came from extensive interviews and discussions with graduates of OLS. The insight that emerged was that each alum liked something different about OLS, whether it was a particular teacher, the religious aspects, lifelong friends, sports, plays, or just the tight knit, caring community.
And yet, while everyone liked something different, we all described the school the exact same way. “OLS was special.” A special time, a special place in our lives.
This became the theme of the nostalgic video. Using photographs collected and curated by the Foundation, we were able to tell this story in film. We thank the Hollywood editors and narrators who donated their time and talent to help the Foundation.
