A heartwarming part of the Reunion evening was the tribute to Sr. Cecile for her 50+ years of service to OLS.
No, she’s not retiring — yet! — but the Lancers Foundation felt it was fitting to celebrate her for all she has given to the school and its students for so many decades.
A highlight of the tribute? Regina Pellegrini and Katie Heyde led the crowd to a sing-along serenade to the tune of Oliver’s “I’d Do Anything.” Watch the video of the heartfelt sing-along above.
Afterwards, the Foundation presented Sister with a specially-commissioned illustration by artist and former parishioner Cathy Breese, as seen below. Special thanks to Chris Daly for reaching out to Mrs. Breese to arrange this one-of-a-kind gift for a one-of-a-kind educator!
